Vacancy attribute mapping

The Easyflex connection supports standard mappings for vacancies, vacancy attributes, recruiters, candidates, candidate statuses and review scores. For vacancy texts, one text field is used. In Booston, you only use Text 1 for this. Attribute values can be manually adjusted or rewritten in Booston.

REST API via Easyflex2GO

The connection uses the Easyflex2GO REST API. No OAuth client ID or client secret is required. No publication filter or qualifier is required either.

AVG and GDPR

The connection is fully AVG and GDPR compliant. Data retention is set to 2 years.

How does the connection work?

The connection enables vacancies and candidates to be exchanged automatically between Easyflex and Booston:

Create vacancies

You create a vacancy in the Easyflex ATS.

Import to Booston

The vacancy is sent to Booston.

Website and campaigns

Booston publishes your vacancy on your website and starts campaigns on job boards and social media.

Export to Easyflex ATS

Applications received through these channels are sent back to the Easyflex ATS via Booston.

Step 1: Request Easyflex details

To set up the connection, you need details from your Easyflex environment. Request these from Easyflex or your Easyflex administrator and share them with your Booston contact person:

  • ATS URL: the URL of your Easyflex2GO environment, in the format https://<customername>.easyflex2go.nl.
  • Login details / API token: the username and password or token for the Easyflex connection.

The connection uses the Easyflex2GO REST API. No OAuth client ID/secret or publication filter is required.

Step 2: Set up the connection in Booston

In Booston, go to Settings > Connect > Ats and choose Easyflex. Under Main settings, fill in the fields as follows:

Field Value
ATS URL https://<customername>.easyflex2go.nl
Username The Easyflex username. This may remain empty in some environments if authentication is handled via a token.
Password The Easyflex password or token. This is stored encrypted.

Configure the Functionality step

In the Functionality step of the wizard, you enable the required data flows. The options below determine what is exchanged between Easyflex and Booston:

Option Available for Easyflex
Job, job attribute and recruiter import Yes
Skip job import on zero results Yes
Candidate export Yes
Candidate export retry Yes
Candidate review score and status import Yes
Postback job URL export Not applicable
Job boost import Legacy v1

Note: Easyflex does not use an OAuth client ID/secret, qualifier or webhooks. Synchronisation runs via poll/cron. A failed candidate export is automatically retried every 3 hours.

In the final wizard step, Activation, you will find the option Apply default attribute settings for this ATS. Preferably enable this option. This directly activates all standard attribute settings for Easyflex, with correct labels and complete setup. After that, you can still adjust individual attributes as needed.

Step 3: Configure publication texts

Go to Settings > Attributes. Configure the vacancy text as desired in the title and description attributes section. For Easyflex, one text field is used. Therefore, in Booston you only use Text 1.

Vacancy text attribute management in Booston

The text field is linked to the text field in your Easyflex ATS:

Publish vacancy in Easyflex

Once the text attribute has been configured, check the result via Recruitment > Vacancies and click on a vacancy.

Check your vacancy text in Booston

Note: make sure at least one vacancy has been published to Booston via Easyflex before checking the result.

Step 4: Configure other vacancy attributes

In the other sections of Settings > Attributes, you manage the attribute values of vacancy attributes, such as vacancy segmentations, categories, industries, salary attributes and location attributes.

  • If you set an attribute to inactive, it is not active in Booston and the linked attribute value will not be imported.
  • If you want Easyflex to fill in the information, enable Automatically fill by ATS.
  • If the attribute is active but Automatically fill by ATS is disabled, you can manually add attribute values via Recruitment > Vacancies > edit vacancy.

  • Label: give the attribute the desired heading.
  • Text search: determine whether the attribute should be included in website search.
  • Search order: determine the order in which the attributes are displayed, for example on the vacancy page.
  • Job alert: determine whether the attribute value is active in the job alert form.
  • On the vacancy detail page: determine whether the attribute value is visible on the vacancy page.
  • In vacancy box: determine whether the attribute value is used as an introduction in a vacancy list.
  • In job alert email: determine whether the attribute value is included in the job alert email to candidates.

Check the incoming attribute values from Easyflex via the hamburger menu.

Automatic addition: a new attribute value is automatically added when a new Easyflex vacancy with an unknown value enters Booston. You can then rewrite or adjust attribute values independently from Easyflex.

Publishing vacancies from Easyflex

In Easyflex, you create the vacancy as usual. This includes job title, description, hours, salary and location. Once the vacancy is ready, publish it to Booston.

Add vacancy text in Easyflex

Tip: fill in all fields of your publication carefully, from texts to salary and location.

At the next synchronisation, usually within approximately 5 minutes, your vacancy will appear in Booston. Check your new vacancy via Recruitment > Vacancies.

Receiving candidates in Easyflex

Applicants who respond to a vacancy through your website or campaigns are automatically received in Easyflex. Data from the application form, including CV and motivation letter, is sent in full. Candidates are immediately visible in Easyflex, making follow-up faster and more efficient.

Preview of candidate management in Easyflex ATS

In Booston, you can see the export status. If an export fails, we automatically retry it every 3 hours. The candidate status is imported from Easyflex, so your reports always remain accurate.

Synchronising review scores

In the latest version of the connection, review scores from 1 to 5 stars are also synchronised in both directions.

  • Import: a review given to a candidate by recruiters in Easyflex is imported into Booston.
  • Export: the review or the Booston AI match score is written back to Easyflex during candidate export.

This works via the candidate attribute score. Enable Automatically fill by ATS for this attribute. Also activate Candidate review score and status import in the Functionality step.

Note: an existing manually given score is not simply overwritten. No infinite update loops are created between the AI score and the ATS.
