Privacy policy

This Privacy Statement applies to all services, products and activities of Booston BV (hereinafter Booston.io) and its clients (hereinafter clients).

GENERAL

Booston.io processes and manages the personal data of future, current and former employees, (customers of) clients, suppliers and relations in various (information) systems. This processing takes place for a variety of purposes, for example: on the basis of legal and/or contractual obligations, a (future) employer/employee relationship, business interest or at the request of the data subject. This processing takes place by Booston.io. Cookies, as described in this Privacy Statement, are processed by Booston.io. Booston.io processes personal data in accordance with the applicable (inter)national laws and regulations, contracts with clients, suppliers and relations and Booston.io's (privacy) policy.

HANDLING OF AND ACCESS TO PERSONAL DATA

Booston.io gives the highest priority to the security of personal data. Booston.io treats personal data confidentially and with the utmost care. Personal data is only stored if there is a legitimate reason for the processing of that data. Booston.io strives to be as transparent as possible regarding the processing of personal data. Furthermore, Booston.io applies a proportionality and subsidiarity test to all processing: the infringement of the data subject's interests must not be disproportionate in relation to the purpose, and the purpose cannot be achieved in any other way that may be less detrimental to the person involved in the processing of personal data. Stored personal data can only be accessed by employees of Booston.io and its clients insofar as this is necessary and fits their position.

Booston.io secures its systems - within reason - against loss and/or against any form of unlawful use or processing. To this end, Booston.io uses appropriate technical and organisational measures, taking into account the state of the art. However, Booston.io shall not be liable for any unlawful access to computers or files, distributed viruses or other unlawful programmes or files, or any other consequence of making data available to Booston.io. Booston.io will share submitted personal data with the client named in the vacancy/advertisement. Other third parties will not have access to personal data without the prior explicit consent of those involved (and, if applicable, of our client or relation), unless there are legal obligations such as in the context of investigations by judicial organisations and/or supervisory authorities.

Booston.io's employees respect (international) privacy legislation as well as Booston.io's privacy policy, as included, inter alia, in the Booston.io Privacy Statement. The Privacy Officer (Data Protection Officer, FG), as established in accordance with and reported to the Personal Data Authority), creates as much awareness as possible and monitors compliance with the aforementioned legislation and policy.

Booston.io applies the policy set out in 'Privacy & cookies' for users of the Booston.io website and its subdomains.

INFORMATION, DATA ACCESS AND CORRECTION AND RIGHT OF OBJECTION

In the event of questions about what data is collected about you and for what purpose this data is collected, Booston.io is always willing to provide you with answers. You may access your data collected by Booston.io or request the amendment or deletion of your personal data at no cost to Booston.io. Finally, you may object to receiving information from Booston.io via various media. If you have any of the aforementioned requests, please submit them in writing to info@booston.io.

MODIFICATION OF THIS PRIVACY STATEMENT

Booston.io reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Statement. Any modifications will be published on this page. We recommend that you consult this Privacy Statement regularly so that you are always aware of the contents of the current Privacy Statement.
